Glossary

Sides of triangle

• Hypotenuse is the longest side of a triangle, used in Right Triangle Trigonometry

• opposite is the opposite side of the triangle, while adjacent is the side next to the point that isn’t the hypotenuse

• $\theta$ (theta) is the variable for angle. You could also use the angle symbol $\angle$ when referring to a angle named something else (such as $\angle B$)

Properties of triangles

• The sum of all internal degrees of any triangle adds up to $180°$
